Pair of Buddhist altar pieces / pricket sticks - Copper, Gold-plated, Cloisonne - China - Qing Dynasty (1644-1911)
A unusual pair of Buddhist altar pieces / pricket sticks made from gilded copper with cloisonné. They are shaped like flotus flowers rising from waves at the base. The central medallion is a stylised 禄 lù and/or 子 zi character, meaning respectively "prosperity", "furthering", "welfare" and "son", "offspring".
