In 1886, Alexander II gave his wife a precious white-enamelled egg which, as a surprise, a ruby-eyed hen contained a golden egg yolk. From then on, these beautiful pieces were ordered from Faberge every year by the Tsar's house. This very special egg was produced in cooperation with Franklin Mint. Crafted from fine porcellain and painted in rich colours. Draped on a 24k gold-plated stand and set with a wide variety of fine materials in the tradition of Faberge. The egg is signed at the bottom with 96 = House of Faberge and FM = Franklin Mint Shipping, Invoice, etc. - We offer combined shipping within Europe for many of our objects.
