Tignanello Antinori is one of the iconic wines of the renowned Tuscan winery. Tenuta Tignanello is located in the Greve in Pesa valley, in the heart of Chianti Classico, in a vineyard where the Antinori winery expresses its production philosophy more than anywhere else: reconciling tradition and modernity through wines linked to their land of origin. Tignanello Antinori is produced only here, on a soil of calcareous origin with tuffaceous elements, at an altitude between 350 and 400 meters above sea level and only in the best years.
Tignanello 2019
Tignanello 2019 is the result of a season characterized by a rather regular climate, with a cold winter and little rainfall, a cool and rainy start to spring. The summer, hot and without excessive temperatures, brought slightly above-average rainfall, an aspect that favored the correct growth of both the vegetation and the bunches. From the end of August to September and October, the excellent climate led to the perfect ripening of the grapes, harvested starting from the second ten days of September.
The result is a red wine that is as extraordinary as ever, intense and deep in color.
Tasting of Tignanello 2019
Tignanello 2019 strikes the nose with its complexity: notes of ripe red fruit, black cherry, sour cherry and currant, combine with sweet hints of vanilla, mint and delicate sensations of white pepper and myrtle. On the palate it is enveloping and graceful: the soft and vibrant tannins are supported by an excellent freshness capable of giving length, elegance and persistence of taste.
Tignanello 2019 is a complex and persistent red wine, with great personality and in full Antinori style.
