Up for auction is an amazing full size master violin.
The label says: "Dominicus Montagnana sub signa Cremonae Venetia 1750". Very beautiful in appearance. The violin is in good condition with no visible cracks, new bridge, new boxwood set up and new strings. Very nice two pieces flamed maple back, high grained spruce top. Golden-brown varnish over lighter ground remains in good condition.
Length of back is 360 mm,
whole length is 583 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 168 mm; middle bouts: 112 mm; lower bouts: 209 mm. Full size.
The sound is very good, suitable for soloist. Insured shipping worldwide
