Historias del pasado y del presente. Lo desconocido, lo que se nos escapa entre los dedos.... Naturaleza, antigüedad, lo terrenal y lo espiritual.
Nos creemos Dioses pero sólo somos monos venidos a más.
Pintura gestual, intuitiva, que deja que las cosas pasen y se apoya sobre lo que aparece. Aprovechando el accidente y aceptando las consecuencias.
Necesidad de contar cosas, de dejar huella, de entender el mundo, que siempre es moderno y antiguo.
Técnica mixta (acrílico, pigmentos, lápiz, carboncillo y tinta china) sobre lienzo.
La obra se entrega sin bastidor (embalaje profesional, enrollada en un tubo).
Las medidas indicadas son las del cuadro una vez estirado y montado en bastidor. Las medidas reales del lienzo son superiores para permitir su montaje.
Firmada a mano por la parte trasera. Incluye certificado de autenticidad.

Spanish expressionist painter.
"I develop a lyrical, gestural and intuitive painting. Trying to connect with the most primitive part of my brain. It is a layered work, where the new covers the old but a trace always remains.
I like to say that I paint with a lost gaze, without paying much attention to what appears on the canvas, accepting and taking advantage of the accident.
I am a biologist by training and I am interested in everything that has to do with the origin of life on Earth, the evolution of species and especially our own evolution as hominids until we began to express ourselves through painting.
I am passionate about the mysticism and expressionism of cave paintings such as those of Chauvet or the Orantes painted by the first Neolithic people who occupied Alicante.
Cinema and great science fiction stories are often present in my work. “2001”, “Dune”, “Interstellar” or “Blade Runner” influence my painting with their aesthetics and their vision of dystopian futures that make my imagination fly.
With all these influences from the past and the future, I have been building my own universe of brands, symbols and characters that help me communicate stories that speak of the passage of time, that connect past worlds with our current life and with future derivatives.
My painting today is a figurative abstraction where gesture, intuition, symbol and figure build the works, layer by layer.
To the rhythm of rock, jazz or flamenco, which is always playing in my studio, all the parts come together. Little by little the different elements, initially unrelated to each other, create links.
Many times the work is simplified in the final part, seeking an aesthetic and accentuating the elements that have connected well and tell us or suggest stories, thoughts or illusions."
