Atacamaites are a type of tektite and impactite found in the middle of the Atacama Desert in Chile. They were ejected into the Earth's atmosphere by a meteorite impact years ago. The steam jets cooled down and condensed to form this type of glass. A common feature of atacamites is their small size. Over 90% of them weigh less than 1 gram.
In auction 3 pieces of atacamaites found personally by me in Chile in February 2024. Collection box included as seen in the pictures.
Packages are usually sent the morning after the auction. Shipping is combined in all my listings - if you win multiple items, only one shipping cost is paid.
