De Nikon DR-6 hoekzoeker kan aan de zoeker van Nikon spiegelreflexcamera's worden bevestigd en geeft een rechtopstaand beeld dat onder een hoek van 90 graden te bekijken is via het ingebouwde dakkantprisma. Dit werkt prettig bij het fotograferen vanuit lage (of hoge) standpunten, of als normaal fotograferen met de zoeker lastig blijkt, b.v. bij close-ups of fotomicrografie. De DR-6 is geschikt voor camera’s met een rechthoekig zoekeroculair en de reproductieverhouding kan worden ingesteld op 1:1 of 1:2.
