Two woodcuts by Sebastian Münster in original colour: Basel, Henricpetri, ca. 1590. 1. Der Statt Cobolentz am Rhein und an der Mosel gelegen/wahre Contrafehtung/sampt umbligender Landtschafft. Dimensions: 21 x 36 cm (woodcut), 32 x 38 cm (paper). Good condition, paper slightly brown and with some small spots due to age, a crease. 2. Die ander Tafel des Rheinstroms/ begreiffend die Pfalz/Westereich/Eyfel/u. Dimensions: 30,5 x 36 cm (woodcut), 33,2 x 40,3 cm (paper). Good condition, upper white margin with some stains.
