The instrument is in good ready to play condition with some small not visible repaired cracks, grafted scroll, new ebony set up, new bridge and new strings.
LOB measures 358 mm. The total length of the violin is 593 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 162 mm; middle bouts: 110 mm; lower bouts: 204 mm. The top is a strong alpine spruce, straight and finely grained. The two pieces back is a strongly flamed maple with matched sides, neck and scroll. The purfling is professionally executed, the edges are masterfully done. The violin is in wonderful ready to play condition with an amazing powerful, sweet, warm and rich sound.
