The Hound of Death and Other Stories is a collection of twelve short stories by Agatha Christie first published in the United Kingdom in October 1933. Unusually, the collection was not published by Christie's regular publishers, William Collins & Sons, but by Odhams Press, and was not available to purchase in shops. This was the first time that a Christie book had been published in the UK but not in the US, although all of the stories contained within it appeared in later US collections.

Twelve tales of mystery and the supernatural, including Christie’s best known story, “The Witness for the Prosecution.” This book was first published by Odhams as part of a promotion in association with the periodical "The Passing Show", after the Crime Club declined to do so. Published by Odhams Press Limited, London, 1933. Publishers’ original maroon cloth board with black lettering on spine.

Condition
Firm and well bound copy. External covers are faded, with light wear to boards’ corners, and spine ends. Internally; the book in good condition. No names or inscriptions. Pages are generally clean, with light foxing to some pages (Nice Copy) (Please see pictures).
