Rare chinese porcelain bowl, beautiful and rich decorated in many colours, “Amsterdam Bont”. Overdecorated in the Netherlands, 17th/18th Century, Kangxi Mark and Period.
Perfect condition, no chips, cracks, hairlines or restorations. A rare collectors piece!

A very interesting example of porcelain from the first half of the 18th century from the times of the V.O.C. The East India Company, which imported porcelain from the Far East to the old continent. Due to cultural differences between China and Europe and the desire to increase the value of porcelain, in the Netherlands the native decorations were somehow "embellished" and adapted to European conditions.
