A superb egyptian bronze cast Harpocrates, finely-detailed. the seated deity depicted nude, with his feet resting on a trapezoidal foot-stool, with his right forefinger raised to his lips and his left hand extended. Wearing a nemes headdress with side-lock of youth and central uraeus, surmounted by a hemhem-crown. | Egypt. Late Period. 664-332 B.C.

Because of the Hemhem crown, this Harpocrates is in fact the god Horus as the child, called Somtous

Somtous is the Hellenized name of the child-god Sema-taouy ("He who unites the two lands"). Son of Herychef and Hathor, he is part of the triad of Herakleopolis, capital of the twentieth nome of Upper Egypt, whose former name "Hout-nen-nesout" means "The palace of the royal child".
Represented here as a child, seated on a throne, he is wearing the nemes, reinforcing his royal character, and crown hemhem, attribute of the deceased kings and child gods.
An amalgam, in Greek times, with Horus conqueror of Seth, has earned him to be confused with Heracles, hence the name of the city Herakleopolis.

Close to the god-son Harpocrates, he has a nature both solar and royal.
