Perfect condition Art Deco porcelain jewelry box with a special heart-shaped shape. It was made in 1920-1930. Its beautifully crafted, hand-painted, enameled decoration depicts a mythological lion. Openable jewelry box, the black lid of which provides an excellent background for the glittering golden animal figure. The lower part is decorated with a golden star pattern on the entire surface. Its gold-colored lower and upper edges follow the shape of the heart-shaped jewelry box. It is a typical example of the black color and metallic elements often used in the Art Deco era. Finely crafted, a uniquely shaped ornamental piece and utility item from the Art Deco era.
