A lovely enamel cloisonné vase of baluster form, adorned with an elegant design of cranes 鶴 (tsuru) in flight. The intricate motif is set against a glossy black background, framed by silver metal rims. The vase is complemented by a low wooden base raised on decorative feet. Marked at the bottom: ‘Cloisonne’ and 正 (Masa). Period: Japan – Taishô period (1912-1926). Dimensions without wooden base: Height 21.5 cm, Diameter 9.5 cm. In a very good condition. Please refer to the photos for a clear condition reference. Complete with wooden tomobako 供箱 (storage box) with inscription, signature and seal in ink.
