This bird was in fact not designed by the Eames, but an 'objet trouvé' from one of their many journeys. A treasured figurine that always appeared, vigilant, in the many pictures taken at the Eames house, of their domestic and experimental life. Besides a beautiful object, it is an emblem of the Eames production and the whole Vitra catalogue.

This item currently retails over 270€ depending on the country.

The figurine is brand new, never used. In perfect condition, it comes with its box, tags, documents and plastic envelopes.

Combined shipment with other lots in this auction is offered for no extra cost.
