Biography:
1947 Born in Fukui Prefecture
1966: Studied maki-e technique under Masaharu Arai for 5 years.
After that, he was taught by Mr. Takasaki Akimine and was attracted to maki-e.
Became independent in 1973.
Received many prizes from Nichigi-Ten and the Lacquer Art Society of Japan.
