ÜBERBLICK/ZUSTAND
Der Jaguar befindet sich in einem sehr guten Zustand. In den Jahren 2005 & 2006 wurde der Wagen von einer Jaguar-Werkstatt umfangreich instand gesetzt: 

- Bremsanlage (Großteil erneuert)
- Lichtanlage
- Vorderachsenaufhängung (Achsfedern, Querträger und weiteres erneuert)
- Abgasanlage (Rohr und Pott erneuert)
- hintere Getriebeaufhängung erneuert
- Hinterachsdifferential (beidseitige Differentialausgangslager & Simmeringe erneuert)
- Inspektions- und Instandsetzungsarbeiten am Motor und den Agregaten (z.B. keilriemen, Undrucksystem und weiteres erneuert
- neue Porsche Felgen und Reifen

Außerdem wurden folgende Arbeiten während der letzten 22 Jahre, die der Wagen im Besitz ist ausgeführt:
- Karosseriearbeiten (wie zum Beispiel Schweller, Tankverkleidung, Kotflügel entrostet und anlackiert
- Türverkleidungen vorne und Rücksitzbank farblich erneuert und versiegelt
- regelmäßige Inspektionen mit kleineren Reparaturen der Verschleißteile

Detailierte Rechnungen liegen alle vor. 

Seit 1. November 2016 die Zulassung als Oldtimer mit H-Kennzeichen (Gutachten gemäß §23 StVO liegt vor). Dadurch kostet er in Deutschland nur noch 191,00 € Steuern im Jahr.

Der letzte TÜV fand im November 2021 statt, dort wurde die Plakette mit geringen Mängeln (Umweltbelastung: Motor und Getriebe Ölfeucht)

In 06/2023 hat die letzte große Inspektion stattgefunden. 
Außerdem wurde im Juli 2023 der Himmel, die hintere Himmelblende und das Schiebedach neu bezogen (andere Farbe als Original), sowie alle gereinigt und entfettet.

Der letzte abgelesene Zählerstand betrug 176107 km, jedoch musste das Fahrzeug noch nach Hause gefahren werden, so dass der Kilometerstand aktuell bei etwas über 176107 km liegt. - Hier lesen Sie auch, dass das Fahrzeug im funktionsfähigen Zustand ist. 

Standort des Jaguars ist 31609 Balge, Niedersachsen, Deutschland. Dort kann er auch  besichtigt, Probe gefahren und abgeholt werden. Derzeit ist das Fahrzeug noch angemeldet. 

Evtl. kann auch noch neuer TÜV gemacht werden. 

Der Oldtimer Jaguar XJ 12 Serie 3 wird einfach zu selten genutzt. Er wurde in den letzten fast 23 Jahren im Besitz nur knappe 6.000 km gefahren.

Beschädigungen des Innenraumes: kleines Loch auf der rechten Seite der Rücksitzbank (Siehe Foto 47)

Beschädigungen/ Arbeiten an der Karosserie: Fotos 90-98 8teilweise war dort schon eine Fachwerkstatt bei, die aber lediglich anlackiert haben, da die Originalfarbe nicht vorhanden war.
