J.R.R. Tolkien - The Hobbit [7th Impression] - 1955

This is a very rare early impression of The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien.

Printed in 1955, it is the 2nd Edition / 7th Impression overall of this magnificent book.

It comes with it's original DustJacket which has been expertly restored to its full glory by 'The Book Restoration Bindery' in Philadelphia.

This item comes from my personal collection - I am a long term Tolkien Books collector and decided it is time to let a few of my collection items find new places.

The book is in Good condition overall - all pages present and intact a bit of foxing as expected for a 70 years old book.

The DJ has been fully restored - in its original state it was about 85-90% complete and now it has been restored as per images. Some foxing and aging visible, but obviously no tears or missing parts.
