DESCRIPTION
Just as the island of Pico was created by the confrontation of the elements of nature, it was also this conciliation - first dramatic and, today, in perfect balance - that inspired the origin of the Eruptio brand. The symbol comprises representations of the great natural influences on wine, embraced by a circle that represents insularity.
The labels were thought of and designed with the same precept with which a winegrower takes care of vineyards set in black crevices to the sound of the “crabs singing”.
Eruptio wines are the liquid, honest and nuanced expression that represents the volcanic and Atlantic terroir where its roots grow.
Each bottle contains the knowledge and resilience of many generations of winegrowers, who in extreme conditions manage to produce grapes of exceptional quality.

WINE VARIETIES: Arinto dos Açores, Verdelho & Terrantez do Pico.

VINIFICATION
The different varieties age individually in stainless steel vats and are aged on the fine lees for 5 months, keeping temperature and oxidation low to maintain the wine's fresh character.

TASTING NOTES
Greenish-yellow color. Aroma of ripe citrus and tropical fruits on a background of seaweed, reminiscent of the sea breeze in a volcanic environment. Very round mouthfeel, with vibrant acidity and a saline finish.

SERVING
Serve with salads, seafood, fish dishes and less intense cheeses. Store in a horizontal position, in a cool and dry place, protected from light and temperature fluctuations. Serve at a temperature of 8ºC to 10ºC. Consume in moderation.
