A very rare beautiful Antique Japanese late Edo Tobiguchi with nice patina.
This weapon was utilized by Samurais mostly for defense and fireFighting, but also as a defense weapon against sword strokes.
Ninja used it as a murder weapon.
The early development of this fighting technique is still practiced today.
The iron hook used for defense retracts and is reinforced by three iron rods to fend off sword strokes. There is metal tip at the end
Length 67,7cm in fair to good fighting condition, because its an very old item there is some dirt, it is rusted think its in fair good condition, please see attached detailed pfotos for the quality and condition.
