Very rare, large XL hand-signed glass vase by interior designer and glass artist Kate Hume, in absolute mint condition.

MEASUREMENTS (in cm)
Height: 46
Diameter base: 19,4

Although Kate Hume has been at the forefront of international high-end interior design for more than 20, her career started with glassmaking.
In her early days she created a few mouth blown glass pieces to satisfy her curiosity on how glass was made. These were an immediate success, and purchased by stores and collectors world wide.
In 1998 she started ‘The Kate Hume Glass Collection’ and very soon after she became one of the leading designers at When Objects Work (WOW) with her top selling and well known ‘Rock’, ‘Pebble’ and ‘Caillou’ vase designs,
But Kate Hume created only 1,000 unique glass pieces with her own 2 hands, and this vase is one of them. Which makes this large piece of art titled ‘Dew Verdure’ a very rare and unique find!
Her glasswork has always referenced the jewel like colour combinations found in nature, and consistently celebrates the unpredictability of the material and inspired by the richness of nature through its characteristic organic shape.
Kate Hume's work has been exhibited at high end galleries and stores in New York, London, Amsterdam, Paris, Dubai, Kuwait and Moscow.
