Hand blown Sommerso Murano glass opalescent pink and white large geode bowl. Alabastro pink opal white glass cased into clear glass with a green glow using the Sommerso technique.

These geode bowls were made by various high skilled glassblowers all over the Murano region. First made by Seguso and designed by Flavio Poli. There are pieces signed by Archimede Suguso, with the same technique and the same three coloured layers. This is definitely a high quality Murano piece and made by Murano master glass blowers.

This bowl has one tiny pinpoint and hard to see imperfection that looks like a small bubble burst, shown in the last picture. Overall good used vintage condition.
