Boulestin - 3 Star Cognac - b. 1930s, 1940s - 73cl
No. 90828361
Boulestin cognac from the 1930s-40s, quite rare, has the classic color of cognac and goes well with a good cigar or dark chocolate
[Expert's remark: interesting bottle of Boulestin. It has the Italian metal tax seal of the 1940s, but is missing an Italian import label. That's unusual, although sometimes they are lost with time. That said, the way the metal tax seal is affixed to the bottle is very unconventional and either a repair or later addition.
Boulestin was early to adapt their name in header format (BOULESTIN above the wineleaves label) and this bottle fits the 1930s to 1940s period, with the typical short capsule. Seal, cork and labels all look original and consistent. - ES]
