The obverse features the inscription "DIVA FAV-STINA" and depicts a draped bust of Faustina I (wife of Antoninus Pius) facing right, honoring her deified status following her death in AD 140/1. On the reverse, the inscription "AETERNITAS" and "S C" in the exergue (indicating Senatus Consulto, or "by decree of the Senate") accompany the image of Aeternitas, the personification of eternity. Aeternitas is seated left, holding a phoenix on a globe and a scepter, symbolizing the eternal nature of Faustina’s deified soul. RIC 1103A
