Enamelled and Gilded Art Nouveau Bohemian Glass Vase/Goblet
Artist: Hermann Pautsch, Arnsdorf/ Haida - Steinschönau/Kamenický Šenov For Julius Mühlhaus (1867-1945).
Hermann Pautsch presented the glass with this kind of decoration for the first time at the Exposition Universelle (World’s fair) held in Paris in 1889.
This Lot is the perfect example of his Bohemian glass masterpieces with beautiful translucent enamels, delicate black scrolling lines and fine gilding.
Estimated Period: 1890-1920
H: 25,5 cm D. lip: 9,5 cm D. foot: 9cm
Condition: Excellent. No chips, no hairlines. no restoration. Slight wear of gilding due to the age.
Perfectly preserved exemplar of very fine hand-painted Bohemian glass art.
Provenance: Private German Collection (Munich).
