An old master 3/4 violin labeled:
SOFFRITTI ETTORE Premiato con Gran Medaglia d'oro all'Esposizione Interazionale di Bruxelles Fece in Ferrara l'anno 1923.
Materials: very nice two pieces narrow flamed maple back with matched sides, neck and scroll, straight high grained spruce top. Golden-brown varnish remains in good condition. There are some old repaired cracks on top.
The total length of the violin is 552 mm, body - 330 mm. Width of the upper bout: 148 mm; middle: 102 mm; lower: 191 mm.
