Fiat - 1800 B Berlina - NO RESERVE - 1961
The Fiat 1800 was a range-topping model for the brand in the late 50s and early 60s. These featured an all-new straight six engine, and plently of novel features. The B versions, introduced in 1961, were some of the first production cars to feature all-round disc brakes (with servo) and an alternator.
The example featured has been sourced from France by the current owner, but never registered (it is currently located in Portugal). French papers and registrations are still present and with the car.
It is complete, and fairly rust free. Corrosion is limited to the edge of one of the wheelarches and a small patch behind the rear window (both visible in the photos). All parts currently not visible in the car are present and correct, and the car is full matching numbers.
Engine is seized, but complete and original. The car has not been run for over 20 years, but lived most of that time indoors. It has now been kept outside but in a dry and well-ventilated area, so it is dirty but fairly well preserved (doors still shut with a solid thunk). All trim is present, and there are some spare parts included too. References for more spare parts can be supplied by the seller.
Underneath, the car is fundamentally sound and shows no signs of accident damage. Corrosion is limited to the areas shown.
