A beautiful and heavy silver-plated coffee/tea set by C.G. Hallberg that was given as a 60-year anniversary gift in 1925 to a professor from his students. The set is made in a stunning Art Nouveau design, and it consists of a big pot, a sugar bowl, and a creamer. All are filled with beautiful details and are made in a gorgeous Jugend design. The pot is engraved with ""På 60 Årsdagen Från Tacksamma Elever 27/10/1925" (For the 60-year anniversary from thankfull students 27/10/1925). All are also engraved with "SJ" (The professor's initials) All are stamped on the bottom: "C.G.H NS 60" Pot: Height: 25 cm Width: 24 cm Dept: 10 cm Creamer: Height: 12 cm Width: 13 cm Dept: 7 cm Sugar bowl: Height: 8 cm Width: 16 cm Dept: 9 cm Weight: 1616g Some small signs of wear, nothing serious (See photos).
