STORIA/PANORAMICA
Innocenti - Austin A40, raro modello con portellino piccolo, originale e ben conservata.
La vettura è stata pubblicata sulla rivista "Ruoteclassiche" nel novembre 2003.

Di proprietà dell'Ordine dei Frati di San Giuseppe e regolarmente utilizzata fino alla fine degli anni '90 per le commissioni dell'istituto. L'auto aveva circa 83.000 km ed era in uno stato di totale originalità. Acquistata da un collezionista di Asti è stata sottoposta ad un restauro conservativo di carrozzeria.

La vettura è stata successivamente omologata ASI (Targa Oro).

ESTERNO/INTERNO
Questa Austin 40 ha subito un restauro durato circa due anni dal 2001 al 2003.
Gli interni sono stati rivestiti con il suo tessuto originale.
La carrozzeria buona, con qualche imperfezione come evidenziato dalle foto. Non si segnala ruggine passante.
I fondi si presentano molto sani e il vano motore pulito. La vettura risulta pronta all'uso.

MECCANICA
La meccanica (ben funzionante) è stata interamente riguardata con piccoli interventi di messa a punto del motore e della ciclistica, impianto elettrico e freni.
E' perfettamente funzionante, regolarmente manutenuta negli anni e non necessita di interventi di particolare rilevanza.
Recentemente eseguito un tagliando prima del controllo periodico (revisione).
E' stata eseguita la revisione.
