Offered for auction is a very interesting and rather impressive, particularly difficult to find official WW2 US army medic manual (dated 1944) describing ALL of the types of artificial limbs, use of them, recovery, of heavily wounded soldiers, illustrated with BEAUTIFUL technical plates. How and what they could still do, serve in officer functions back home, etc. It really makes you realize what they sacrificed in the war. The manual is in used but good condition for its age..
