Sassafras Single blended rum is a limited edition produced in only 6000 bottles. It ages 3 years in ex-Bourbon casks and 11 years in ex-Cognac casks before being bottled at full strength. The nose opens with intense aromas of exotic fruit and honey, with more roasted and spicy notes given by the long passage in casks; the palate is warm and full-bodied, with a very long finish of almonds and caramel.
