Francisco Bravo Cabrera ( BODO V. ) - Jazz Improv
“Jazz Improv” is an acrylic on canvas painting by Francisco Bravo Cabrera also known in the art world as Bodo Vespaciano.
Francisco’s art in Europe and in the United States are present in many collector’s private collections. His use of colors and unique jazz compositions are highly sought after. Currently he creates his art in Valencia, Spain.
Improvisation is the main ingredient in a jazz show and in Jazz-Art (the Surreal-Expressionist style that Francisco has developed) the spirit of improvisation permeates the composition, although everything has been planned out to perfection. In Surreal-Expressionism what one sees is the impression of the artist. In this composition it is the impression of a jazz trio playing in a dark and smoky club in a basement in Manhattan. The lights surround the stage and the colors mix and blend with the smoky atmosphere and the movements of the players, which allows the spectator to see parts and not see others of the faces and bodies that are improvising onstage. Francisco's vision is represented in the colours that seem to flow, merge and circle around again giving the painting movement, vitality, art.
Painting will be taken off its stretcher, rolled and will be mailed inside a mailing tube. Its Certificate of Authenticity will also be included.
