"Naga Morsarang" - Medicine Horn This artifact from the Batak culture of Sumatra, Indonesia, dates back to the late 20th century. It is believed that this piece was likely used in shamanic rituals performed by a datu (local shaman) to store protective and medicinal substances known as "pagar." Carved Details: The upper section of the piece is crafted from wood and intricately hand-carved with symbols inspired by Batak mythology, including figures and mythological animals believed to provide spiritual protection. Original Cord: The horn is connected by an original, old cord that has not been replaced, maintaining its authenticity and historical value.
