Silver censer with a decoration of acanthus leafs and flowers. Executed in the fourth quarter of the 18th century in the style of King Louis XVI. On the cover is a noble coat-of-arms with crown. Due to aging it is hard to see the exact features of this weapon.
Made by a skilled craftsman by hand ( hammered out of a plate and chased.
No apparent hallmark due to exemption of taxes for the Roman Catholic Church.
Silver of the second grade 835/1000 = 83,5 % solid silver.
Dimensions: With chain 74 cm. Height.
Dimensions censer; 21 x 11,4 cm.
