5 French cookbooks published between 1906 and 1932.

1) Je sais cuisiner par un groupe de cordons bleues (sous la direction de Mlles H. Delage et G. Mathiot) - Nouvelle édition près de 2000 recettes- probably published in 1932 by Albin Michel in Paris.

Spine of the book is strengthen with transparent adhesive tape. The other edge of the spine (without adhesive tape) is getting loose. Handwritten notes in pencil on one the first pages of the book. Check out the photos for the condition of the book, pages and binding.

2) La Véritable Cuisine de Famille Par Tante Marie comprenant 1.000 recettes et 500 menus - A. Taride (Paris, published in the 1920s)

Spine is strengthen by transparent adhesive tape on both edges of the spine. Handwritten notes in pencil and blue pen on one of the first pages. The book cover and back has a bit of wear and tear and a few stains. Pages are in very good and clean condition for its age. Only slight foxing around the edges of the pages. Very nice edition of this fabulous vintage cookbook. Take a look at the photos to see the condition.

3) La Cuisinière Cordon bleu de la Famille par Annette Lucas - Librarie de Th. Lefèvre et Cie (Undated, but probably around 1906)

Book cover and back have wear and tear and stains. Edges of the book have some damage. Handwritten notes on one of the first pages of the book and also on the last page of the book. First 5 and last 10 pages of the book have more foxing than the rest of the book. Pages are in general clean and in good condition for their age. Very limited number of pages have some stains. 4) Le Livre de la Ménagère ou Petite Encyclopédie de la Famille par Félix Urbain-Dubois - Ernest Flammarion (Paris) - 1926

Cover and back have wear and tear, stains and the edges are damaged. The spine is strengthened by transparent adhesive tape on both edges. One of the first pages has very faint note in pencil. Pages have foxing (especially around the edges). Some pages have some stains. See photos for the condition of the book.

5) Cuisine Pratique de Françoise - Recettes Pratiques de Cuisine, Pâtisserie, Glaces, etc. - Edition Populaire d'Ouvrages Pratiques (undated)

Cover and back have wear and tear, stains and some damages (especially the edges). The spine has creases. Handwritten number on first 2 pages. Spine and the back of the book became detached from the pages (see photos). Pages have foxing, but are in good and clean condition for their age. Pages 259-260 have tear at the bottom.
