Kaschmir-Seidenteppiche werden nach dem Vorbild persischer Teppiche in Indien handgeknüpft. Die orientalischen Muster der Teppiche bestehen zum Teil aus Medaillons und sich wiederholenden Mustern, aber auch das typische Gartenmotiv ist vertreten. Die Teppiche sind sehr gut gefertigt und dank der Seide als Material werden sie dünn und leicht mit einem wunderbar schimmernden Glanz. Durch die Verwendung von Seide sind auch detailliertere Muster möglich und man ist von der Sorgfalt beeindruckt, mit der die Arbeit am Teppich ausgeführt wurde.
