Henryk Stażewski, born on December 16, 1894, in Warsaw, Poland, was a pivotal figure in Polish abstract art. After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw post-World War I, he emerged as a key member of the "Blok" movement. His art is known for its geometric forms, clear lines, and harmonious colors, drawing influences from the avant-garde and constructivism.
