12 bottles of Chateau Muret Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois. The vintage is 2017, which is an outstanding vintage according to the Robert Parker Vintage Chart, scoring a 91/100-score.

Vineyard:
The 27-year-old vineyard is planted at 6,666 vines/ha over 25 hectares. It is located on a clay-limestone plateau overlooking the Gallo-Roman site of Brion. The grape varieties consist of 60% Merlot Noir and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon.

History:
In the Haut-Médoc appellation, in the extension of the prestigious commune of Saint-Estèphe, Château Muret, owned by the Boufflerd family since 1985, is located in Saint-Seurin de Cadourne.

Listed in the 1850 edition of Charles Cock's Guide, the property was one of the largest in the commune, comprising around a hundred hectares of vines, woods and meadows. It had since become wasteland and ruins. The current owners therefore had to clear everything, build and replant.

Viticulture:
For around ten years the vines have been managed using sustainable agriculture, thus ensuring respect for sustainable development and the environment as well as food safety. Strict monitoring of Terra Vitis specifications ensures traceability and transparency of all interventions, from the vine to the bottle.

Wine making:
The harvest is vinified according to pure Médoc tradition, following the advice of the Pauillac Oenology laboratory. Housed in a functional stainless steel vat, it benefits from the latest techniques for controlling fermentation temperatures.

The wine is then aged in oak barrels for minimum a year in an air-conditioned cellar.

The single bottles (without the case) will be shipped to you in a secure protective packaging to prevent damage.

Wijn is prima. Goed verpakt ook. Bezorgdienst DPD maakt een puinhoop van bezorging, dat ligt niet aan de leveran ciet maar wellicht een andere bexofgdienst kiezen.

I was really happy, because the shipment was fully precise on time. The wooden box was well protected by bubble foil, additional box and was very well signed with fragile stickers. Thanks
