Packard - Caribbean - 1953

Beautiful Packard Convertible Body & Paint: The bodywork of this beautiful Packard Convertible is in a good to very good condition with no rust. The paint looks very good, as can be seen in the pictures. There are close-ups of the lesser parts available. The chrome parts have some wear and patina on them. Technical: The car is in excellent technical condition. It drives well and starts very easily. The engine, brakes, and transmission are all in good working order. There are detailed invoices available for recent maintenance, including a new battery. The car has undergone a significant service and several repairs such as: • Complete new starter relay system • Radiator repair • Servo repair • Thermostat replacement • Welding repairs • All new Delco system • Alternator repair • New glass jar for windshield wipers • New tires Also the hydraulically controlled windows and convertible top work flawlessly. Additionally, it has passed a rigorous SBAT inspection in Belgium, valid until 03/05/2028. The inspection noted a small issue with the steering servo (now resolved, with invoice) and a minor oil leak, which is reasonable for classic cars. Interior: The interior is generally very clean. There is a small tear on the driver’s seat and some hairline cracks in the polyester dashboard, but overall it is in great condition. Documentation: The car comes with all necessary documents, including invoices amounting to approximately €4000 for parts alone, excluding labor. A full expert report is also available. Other Information: The car originated from the US and is ready to hit the road. It can be viewed or picked up in Melle, Belgium, and shipping is available at the buyer’s expense.
