Daniel Bouju Tres Vieux is produced in one of the best and most sought-after regions of the Cognac region - Grande Champagne . Initially, the cognac matures in new oak barrels labeled "Limousine" , later it matures in old oak barrels, which give the cognac heavier taste notes. Distillation takes place using the classic Charente method of double firing in sixteen hectoliter copper cauldrons. The tradition of cognac production by the Bouju family dates back to 1805 , and since then the eighth generation has been taking care of its preservation. Currently, the family manages 14 hectares of vineyards , thanks to which they are completely independent from large cognac houses.

Color: Dark brown.

Aroma: Rich oak notes, fine peat, mint, flowers, cigar.

Taste: Distinctive and stylish, rose flowers, licorice, candied angelica, balsamic, tannins, soft musty notes.
