Roger Fritz was a well-known German photographer who also worked for Magnum photo agency. With the offered photograph Roger Fritz documents one of the last photo shoots of Mapplethorpe with Lisa Lyon in a New York loft before Mapplethorpe's illustrated book "Lady Lisa Lyon" was published in 1983.
