The watch design takes inspiration from the original “Alaska Project III,” renowned for its robustness and readability under extreme conditions. The most striking visual element of this watch is its "reverse panda" dial, a design characterized by white opaline silvery subdials set against a deep black main dial, creating a sharp and appealing contrast. These subdials are surrounded by a black aluminum bezel ring that adds a sleek, modern edge to the watch. In keeping with Omega’s tradition of excellence, the watch showcases several distinctive details. The vintage Omega logo, prominently displayed on the dial, is rhodium-plated. The hour markers are coated with Super-LumiNova, a luminescent material that provides exceptional visibility in low light.
