Good morning, I am Adriano Putignano, expert in Anthropology, Ethnography and History of Religions, at the end of the 70s I opened one of the first ethnic curiosity shops in the city near my Art Gallery "L'Incontro" in Turin, with the Over time, thanks also to my in-depth studies of ethnology and religious anthropology, I began to collect objects for sacred use from the various religions and philosophies of the peoples of the world. At the beginning of the 90s our first Multi-Ethnic and Antique Art Gallery in the center of the city, one of the two existing specialized in African art "Arkana Gallery". In the meantime, as organizers we have created and organized among the most important monthly outdoor exhibitions of minor antiques, among the most important: "City of Turin" Antiques Market in Piazza Vittorio with the patronage of the Piedmont Region, Antiques Market City of Chieri (To), Antiques Market City of San Mauro (To), Antiques Market City of Ivrea (To), the 2006 Antiques Market Exhibition, in the Lingotto international exhibition center in Turin , exhibition "Anima Mundi" African Art, Mughul illuminated pages, Sacred Asian Art, in the "IL Chiostro" Gallery, Via Po. After a ten-year break, working as an organizer of events and own commercial activities, (Art Objects shop , Souvenir shop of Turin and its teams) within the Juventus Stadium in Turin, the activities closed, I reopened the Multi-Ethnic and Antique Art Gallery "Arkadia Gallery" in front of the Stadium, now also closed due to Covid. In our warehouse, over 1000 masks and statues particularly from Africa and Asia, and another thousand of various non-European and European objects and paintings especially by Italian artists of the 20th century.
