A pair of elegant Chinese blue and white porcelain 'Fish' cups. China, late 19th century, Guangxu (光緒, 1875-1908) reign period. Very good model with great, extensive decor!

Cups finely potted with round walls and slightly everted, scalloped (flower shaped) top-rims, decorated to the exterior with four fish and aquatic plants under the band of petal-shaped reserves. Interior with a centered medallion with fish and aquatic plants, four flower sprays on walls, band with foliage and fruits under the top-rim. Marked to the base with a Kangxi Lingzhi fungus mark within a double ring, but 19th century.

Dimensions: diameter: 8 cm; height – 5 cm. Weight – 55 / 56 g.

Conditions report: one cup with fritting and small chips to the top-rim, one with associated hairline (3 cm), three with very short, almost invisible hairlines.
