An illuminated folio from an anthology of poetry from North India with one gouache and gold embellished miniature in the centre right margin. It is top and tailed by script and a gold frame, with a wide outer margin also filled with diagonal poetic script. The miniature appears to be showing two scholars approaching a hermit to seek guidance, one holding some manuscript. The script is in Nasta'liq black ink. The whole has a simple gold embellished frame.
