Bang & Olufsen - Beovox M75 Speaker set

Beautifull set of Beovox M75! Speakers were recently refoamed! The woofers were refoamed with rubber so that they would endure the test of time. The woofer had some trauma which was professionally repaired. The frontcover have been remade with speaker cloth, which is stuck to the unit. The cabinets have some marks, and one midrange driver has a smal mark on the foam. but all together still fairly clean. (See pictures) The set sounds great, and is in good condition! A rare set of speakers. The set will be sent separately due to the weight. Continuous load 75 W Music load 125 W Impedance: 4 – 8 ohms Frequency response +4 -8 dB 27 – 20,000 Hz Sensitivity 5 W Gross volume 55 litre Woofer: 25cm Phase link unit: 12,5 cm Mid-range unit: 6cm Tweeter: 2,5cm Dimensions W x H x D: 35 x 65 x 27cm Weight 17kg Reproducing sound with studio monitor quality they were bought by keen music listeners and sound professionals alike. Special electronic circuitry was built inside to protect the drivers against speaker abuse by the use of too much power. This special overloading protection was fitted to most of the new range Beovox Uni-Phase speakers which turned themselves off if the preset power threshold had been realised. A red LED indicator lamp at the bottom of the front grille illuminated when the overload function had been triggered. A special reset button was pressed to bring the speakers back to full operation. Offering good performance the Beovox M75 was suitable for medium-sized rooms when it could handle 75W RMS adequately. The Beovox M70/75 and M100 had the same midrange unit, a German-made ITT Schaub-Lorenz unit (LPKM/130/50 120T), classified by them as a 50mm (presumably the diameter of the voice coil) soft dome in a 130mm housing; the textile dome itself being about 55mm and about 65mm (measured) including its surround. The B&O speaker leaflet of the time lists it as a 2.5″ (6.3cm). The tweeter for the M70 was a SEAS H086 (25mm soft-dome unit), while the Beovox M75 had an Audax 25mm soft-dome unit (HD12×9D25).
