Franklin Mint is a US company that specializes in the production of special and high-quality collectibles. This "Battle of Waterloo De Luxe" chess game version is a very special one. The chess set was produced in a small limited series in 1984 (40 years old). Only the finest materials such as 24 carat gold, 925 sterling silver, enamel, tin and precious wood were used for production. The chess pieces are very detailed and beautiful to look at. Militaria - Napoleon, the Imperial Guard with their muskets and swords, the eagles on the Geriment drums and the beautiful horses are a real feast for the eyes. Napoleon would certainly have liked this chess set very much and would have included it in his collection of beautiful things.
