Trader Mickey (Walt Disney, 1932) Mickey Mouse and Native Chief Animation Drawing Mickey is captured by a tribe of cannibals, but that's not going to stop him from having fun! This great 12 field 2-peghole animation drawing features Mickey and the chief of the tribe as they appear at about the 4:35 mark of the David Hand-directed short. Mickey teaches everyone how to play the instruments he was carrying as a distraction, giving the chief a fun little harmonica. The man unfortunately swallows it, but Mickey has a brilliant idea and continues to play the instrument by poking his belly. This graphite drawing captures this comical moment, the characters are centered on the page. The page is labeled either 43 or 44 in the lower right with a small note in graphite. This vintage animation drawing is in Very Good condition overall with minor edge and handling wear and light age-related toning.
