Herend - Exquisite Spoiling Coffee Set (5 pcs) - "Rothschild Bird" Pattern - Coffee set - Hand Painted Porcelain

Magnificent spoiling set, including a rectangular tray with handles, coffee cup and saucer, soliflore vase and leaf shape bowl with branch handle, produced by Herend Hungary - “Rothschild Bird” collection, well known hand painted pattern with birds perched among branches and scattered insects, in excellent to pristine condition.
This pattern was first created in 1850 for the Rothschild family of Europe and is considered to be the epitome of hand painting on porcelain.
Twelve different motifs portray a 19th century tale about Baroness Rothschild who lost her pearl necklace in the garden of her Vienna residence.
Several days later it was found by her gardener, who saw birds playing with it in a tree.
This set is in excellent to pristine condition, marked with Herend blue shield mark on the back of the base, NO chips, NO cracks and NO repairs, please see the pictures as they are part of the description.

Coffee Cup: diameter with handle 8,5 cm, height 4,8 cm
Saucer: diameter 11,5 cm, height 2,2 cm

Leaf Shape Bowl: length 10,5 cm, width 8 cm, height 4 cm
