Nymph with Scorpion is a sculpture created by Lorenzo Bartolini, located in the Louvre Museum in Paris.

The statue represents a young naked nymph who has just been stung by a scorpion. The nymph is lying down and checking her injured foot. The nudity of the subject has no sensual reference, but rather emphasises her purity, as in the work Trust in God created by the artist himself in 1835.

The girl's face is twisted into a slight grimace due to the pain of the scorpion sting and her mouth is slightly open. The harmony of the classical image is broken by Lorenzo Bartolini through small distortions on the shoulders and arms.

No scratches, cracks, chipping or dents. In an excellent condition.
Signed "bronze reproduction" on the back.
